Thank you for your interest in one of our Multigenerational Australian Labradoodles. We are blessed to be able to provide abundant joy in the form of four paws, wet nose and a huge heart.
We complete extensive health and genetic testing to ensure that our breeding dogs are healthy, which in turn gives our puppies the best opportunity to be healthy too. We genetically test using PawPrint Genetics. In addition to health testing, we provide a healthy start to our puppies lives by feeding all of our dogs a "Human Grade" or "Food Grade", high quality, high protein, sustainably sourced meal program.
We use neurological stimulation exercises and early scent introduction in the first few weeks of life and also stimulate and nurture our puppies following the Puppy Culture approach. Because we have a large family, our puppies are highly socialized and accustomed to being held and doted on from birth, by adults, teenagers and young children.
We are committed to creating an ethical breeding business that our puppy families are proud to recommend. We will accomplish this through our thorough health testing, willingness to answer any questions you may have prior to committing to a puppy, frequent communications via email and social media throughout the process of breeding until birth and then the 8 weeks leading up to puppies going home, and as often as our puppy families have questions throughout an AJL pup's lifetime. We are also committed to being transparent in everything we do. You will be able to find extensive information on our website regarding each of our dogs' health, temperament and accomplishments.
Please keep in mind that it is in Mother Nature’s hands to determine gender, color, and coat of your future puppy. Although we will do our very best to provide you with the puppy of your dreams while matching your preferences, this may not always be possible.
Our puppies are offered for sale for $3300. A non-refundable reservation fee of $300 is due after your interest form and introduction phone call has been completed. You will be given the information then on how to pay the reservation fee. The final payment is due at 6 weeks of age (multiple payments are acceptable). We do reserve the right to reserve up to two puppies per litter for development of our breeding program.
Please feel free to ask us questions about our dogs, our puppies and the Australian Labradoodle, in general. However our Puppy Interest Form must be completed, approved, and a reservation fee paid prior to being put on a waiting list.
After your Puppy Interest Form is received and reviewed, a phone call will be scheduled to further discuss the process. If, after this phone call, both parties would like to continue with the puppy adoption process, instructions will be given on how to make the reservation fee.
We require a reservation fee of $300 to be placed on our master waiting list. This fee is non-refundable. However, we understand that life has a funny way of changing plans, so reservation fees can be held for 3 years from the date placed, for a puppy from a future litter.
We will update via email and on our social media pages and website when a litter is planned, confirmed, delivered and then at least one time per week after puppies are born.
Families will be invited to our home when puppies are around four weeks of age for our "Family Visitation Day." Families will be sent specific instructions prior to this day, as to what to expect, what to wear and our health protocols. Our protocols are important for the safety and health of our puppies. If a potential family prefers, they can attend virtually during the meet-up. After meet-up, each family will be asked to provide their top 3 puppy picks.
At 7 weeks of age, puppies will be temperament tested using BAB's Empowered Breeder Puppy Evaluation. We want to honor the temperament of the puppy as well as respect our potential families' specific needs and desires. We want to make magical matches happen for our puppies best life.
After temperament testing and first vet visit, puppy pick day will happen. We will notify each family of our suggested matches based on each families' needs and each puppies' individual temperament testing results. Puppy picks will be based on 1. breeder suggestions 2. family desire 3. in order of reservation fees. Breeder has the right to reserve up to two puppies per litter for development of breeding program.
Puppies will go home between 8 and 9 weeks of age. We will schedule the date at least 2 weeks in advance. If a puppy remains after 9 weeks of age, there will be a training/boarding fee of $40 per day. We encourage puppies be picked up, by their new families, from our home; however we will meet at Augusta Regional Airport, if you choose to fly in. We can also provide a flight nanny for additional fees. We will not ship puppies in cargo. Additional information for pick up day will be provided by email when the date is announced.
